Sunday will be another steamy day! It will remain mainly sunny with high temperature reaching the lower 90s again. A stray shower is possible for far inland areas, but majority of us will stay dry.
Heat indices will be similar to Saturday in between 100-105. Isolated inland spots could top 105.
Make sure you remain well protected from the sun and stay well hydrated. Or you may just want to take advantage of the AC!
Our weather pattern starts to become a bit more active starting Monday. Look for isolated inland storms Monday afternoon.
The heat will continue with highs in the lower 90s and feels-like temperatures at or near the triple digits.
A low pressure system will hug the southeast's coastline before moving over Florida mid-week. This will increase our rain chances starting on Tuesday through the rest of the work week. It won't rain all day, but it will be stormy at times. With more rain in the forecast, highs will struggle to reach the 90s.
TROPICS:
We are keeping an eye on the Atlantic Basin. As of right now, there is one area of low interest with a 10% chance of tropical development within the next 2 days and 20% for the next 7. By the middle of next week, conditions are expected to become unfavorable for further development.
